Dr. David Katz - Prevention Magazine
One of the hazards of writing a health blog, as I've come to discover, is that everyone with a health-related product or idea finds you, convinced they have the perfect subject matter. I am rarely persuaded.
Every now and then, though, I am pleased to discover a concept of real potential value, and into this category goes 'the Germy Wormy .'
Germy Wormy is both an educational program for young children, and a disposable sanitary elbow sleeve - in essence,... the worm gets the germs so others don't.

Sunshine Simmons - Portland Examiner
"Germy Wormy is a complete learning system that teaches kids all about germs, what they are, where they are, what they do and what to do to avoid getting them and sharing them.... I previewed the Germ Smarts for Kids DVD with a small group of children. They were glued to the set. I had the same group of kids over for four days in a row, and every day they would all ask, “Can we watch Germy Wormy today?” Get yourself a Germy Wormy Starter Kit today. Trust me, you’re gonna’ love it! "

I have to say that what completely sold me on the Germy Wormy products is the DVD that comes as part of the educational set. The sleeves make it fun and easy for children to cover their nose and mouth - and the DVD makes it fun for teachers or parents to teach children about how to prevent the spread of germs!

Teach kids to sneeze into their elbows and not their hands. This can stop illness from spreading through the school and your home. It’s almost like a tissue for their elbows -- Germy Wormy Sleeves encourages kids to sneeze into their elbows. They teach germ awareness in three easy steps, cough and sneeze into elbow, keep germs away from your face and wash your hands often. Ages 2-7

Jodi - Mom's Favorite Stuff
Germy Wormy is a fun little product to help preschoolers with a cold or the flu learn how to cough or sneeze into their elbow or forearm, rather than their hands. Coughing or sneezing into hands, as we typically did when we were growing up, is actually a terrible way to control germs, because then the germs spread from the hands to everything we touch. The Germy Wormy is a disposable sleeve worn on the elbow/forearm. Kids actually enjoy “feeding” the wormy, and will then develop great hygiene habits that will last a lifetime

Susan Lee - Mommas in the House
After we saw the DVD, we put the Germy Wormy on my daughter's elbow and had her mimic coughing and sneezing, into the sleeves. She had no issues of putting it on and she actually enjoyed herself. When it comes time and she catches a cold, I will not have to go through the grueling process of chasing her around the entire house, with a box of kleenex, or trying to hold her down, as we stick a nasal aspirator, up her nose. It gives her the freedom to run about and when need be, cough or sneeze into the sleeves.
